Christina Archer is the founder of "Sustainable Sailing Greece" and has over 30 years of experience in sustainability. For years, she has been noticing the increasing impacts being felt in coastal areas back home in Greece as a result of the growth of the sailing sector, having been introduced to it over 20 years ago.
She has worked with NGOs, charter companies, coastal residents, visitors, and experts to gather their views and needs, aiming to make sailing in Greece more sustainable.
This interactive workshop will explore sustainability trends and challenges in the sailing industry, highlighting emerging best practices. Using real-life examples from Greece and the UK, participants will learn how stakeholders can promote more sustainable operations and effectively engage with clients.
